Which such a successful release the 2020 Volkl Mantra V.Werks men's freeride ski is back for a second season. The Mantra V.Werks uses 3D.Ridge Carbon which involves taking one of Volkls Multilayer Woodcore Light and milling it out to keep wood under the foot but leaving only center band leading to the tip and tail and then adding a layer of Titanium Laminate wrapping the core in a Full Carbon Jacket to ramp the stiffness and dampening right up without the added weight. This creates a ski that not only looks flash and has had some serious research and development go into it but more importantly is super light but also unusually damp and stable at high speed. The brand new Mantra V.Werks is targeted at advanced to expert skiers who demand a nice stiff ski to keep up with them and want it all in a lightweight package and may even mount the ski with a touring binding.

We suggest mounting the Mantra V.Werks with any of the Marker Royal Family or The Marker King Pin if you want to go touring as it makes sense to match a lightweight binding after so much effort was put in to reduce the weight of the ski.
